Personal car or van transfer from/to Dubrovnik – DIRECTLY to/from HVAR

Our experienced driver will meet you at the airport, or pick You up at any hotel in Dubrovnik area. It’s a two-hour drive to reach Drvenik – a small city and also connecting mainland port to Hvar.

From there we will take the ferry to Sućuraj, on the “far” side of Hvar Island. And then from Sucuraj it takes hour and half to reach town Hvar and your hotel.

Approximate rate for the land private transfer from Dubrovnik to Hvar or Hvar to Dubrovnik:

CAR OPTION: Over Drvenik (mainland ferry harbour) – Sucuraj (Hvar ferry harbor).

Driving to Hvar

Although the drive to Hvar is easy, with good roads and great views (and signs in English!), you will need to allow almost 4 to 5 hours to get here.

The easiest way to Hvar via Dubrovnik, or opposite, is to go to Drvenik, a little coastal town which is halfway to Split and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Drvenik, you need to take a car ferry that goes to Sucuraj, a village on the “far” side of Hvar Island. The ferry departures from Drvenik are very frequent and the crossing is just 35 minutes.

From Sucuraj it’s a 1.5 hour drive to Hvar Town on some wonderful road, so take your time and enjoy this beautiful ride.

If you have the time, you will definitely enjoy traveling through such picturesque villages and ‘’wilderness’’. And since you have a day, why not stop and buy some buy lavender, or have a lunch – a good place is the eco village and restaurant Humac at Jakov and Keti Franicevic e.g. or restaurant Gusarska Luka at Sucuraj town, or maybe a stop at the famous oyster area around Ston on Peljesac peninsula…Definitely a car transfer from Dubrovnik to Hvar or opposite turn into day experience program.

A great day at the sea
